My research is largely focused on the evolution and behavior of the wasp family Crabronidae, particularly the tribe Crabronini. I have also worked on Hawaiian ichneumonid wasps and the geological history of several wasp families. Presently, I am assisting with a survey and inventory of arthropods from multiple elevations in southeastern Peru.
