Partners

Biodiversity Institute faculty-curators and research scientists have joint appointments with the KU Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, the KU Department of Geology or the KU Biological Survey. All Biodiversity Institute graduate students pursue their master's and doctoral degrees through these and other academic departments.

The Commons

The Commons is a partnership between the Biodiversity Institute, the Hall Center for the Humanities and the Spencer Museum of Art. The Commons is dedicated to exploring nature and culture across the sciences, humanities and arts, and was established to be a catalyst for unconventional thinking, interdisciplinary inquiry, and unexpected discoveries.
