Earth Science Week
Saturday, Oct. 11, 1-3pm at the museum: Science Saturday
Come to the KU Natural History Museum to explore activities and demonstrations about the overlapping systems of Earth: air, water, and geology. Go from the tiny world of microbes in soil to the most atmospheric – weather!
Earth Science Week, sponsored by the American Geological Institute, promotes understanding and appreciation of the value of earth science research and its applications and relevance to our daily lives. This year’s theme, “Earth's Connected Systems,” offers the chance to explore the ways that geoscience illuminates natural change.
