What do groundwater and ice cream have in common? They’re both part of our Edible Aquifers event! Learn how groundwater and aquifers work, about groundwater contamination, and build your own functional and edible “aquifer” using candy and ice cream! For elementary school age youth and their adults, but all are welcome. Free, limited to 20 participants, registration is required. If you or your child have dietary restrictions or disability accommodation requests, contact Micah Unruh at micah.unruh@ku.edu by Monday, May 9. Get updates on the Edible Aquifers Facebook event page.
