Laura is a graduate student advised by Jorge Soberon. Her research interests include applied statistical modeling, biodiversity and biogeography.


I am working on the problem of estimating fundamental niches from occurrence data. This problem is explored by Bayesian statistical modeling and by analyzing climate data sets.
