Ornithology

Wednesday, November 6
11:30am – 1:00pm
KU Memorial Union

In the Kansas Union for lunch? Stop by and explore some of the Biodiversity Institute’s more than 9 million specimens rarely on display to the public. Each month, KU students and community members are invited to examine one of our unique collections with fascinating insights from a graduate student researcher. This month, take a closer look at specimens from the KU Natural History Museum & Biodiversity Institute's Ornithology Collection and enjoy insights from graduate student researchers including Emily Ostrow, Fernando Machado-Stredel, Jesse Holmes, Isaac Rush, and Devon DeRaad.
