Kids will love exploring the different types of symmetry in the natural world during this month’s Pop Up Science, plus we have a hands-on activity making prints of symmetrical specimens with the sun! We’ll explore radial, bilateral, rotational and reflectional symmetry in nature and show you how to identify these in pinecones, starfish, butterflies and more. Then we’ll show you how to make cyanotype photo prints with leaves and other botanical materials. View the materials list and activity guide.
