Pop Up Science: Marvelous Monarchs!
Sunday, September 18
KU Natural History Museum, Dyche Hall
Join us for Pop Up Science, a fun family-oriented program. Each month, visitors are invited to try themed hands-on science learning activities in one of our museum galleries. This month, learn about marvelous monarch butterflies — including an experiment that models how monarchs travel using thermal air masses! This program is offered in partnership with Monarch Watch’s “Month of the Monarch” programming, which celebrates their 30th anniversary! For more of their anniversary events, visit the Monarch Watch website.
