***Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Pop Up Science: Groundwater event is CANCELED. We apologize for any inconvenience.***
At this event, you can learn about the importance of groundwater and build your own functional and edible “aquifer” using candy and ice cream, plus try a hands-on activity exploring how groundwater is naturally filtered through layers of soil and rock! Groundwater is a vital water supply for humanity, providing drinking water for as much as 50% of the global population. In nature, groundwater supports river, lake, and wetland habitats. Join us! Free.
