KU Students

There are several ways for KU students to get involved in the KU Natural History Museum.

Students Volunteering

Free Admission

Students enjoy free admission to the museum. There are four floors of exhibits to explore, from fossils to live animals, to photography and dioramas. The museum is home to an exhibit that was part of the 1893 World’s Fair, the Panorama, as well many modern exhibits about the research of our scientists.

Volunteer opportunities

Get involved in the museum by exploring your creativity - join our student group, NSCO.  Help us reach more people by creating podcasts, videos and and other social content about the museum. Volunteer to work at one of the museum’s public science events, such as Discovery Days.
