Imaging Center

The Imaging Center is a dedicated space for producing digital images of artifacts and specimens using high-quality equipment. The Imaging Center is equipped with a photographic station that includes digital cameras, a desktop shooting table, tripod with horizontal side arm, four LED photography light panels with barn doors, and a high-resolution photo scanner.
The Center also has a 3-dimensional laser scanner with a rotating stage, and dedicated computer with two monitors.
For fieldwork, the Division is equipped with digital SLR’s, a GoPro camera and wide range of attachments, and a Gigapan Epic robotic mount for shooting extremely high-resolution panoramic photographs.
