About Informal Science Education

The Informal Science Education department conducts externally funded education projects to create innovative programming and resources for varied audiences and contributes to disciplinary knowledge and best practices in evolution education. We also support broader impacts components on other research projects and fulfill the public education mission of the Biodiversity Institute and Natural History Museum.
