Welcome! Explore the life of the planet at the KU Natural History Museum with four floors of fascinating exhibits, from minute microbes to our 45-foot-long mosasaur, the famous Panorama and much more.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 9am - 5pm and Sunday, 12pm - 4pm. Admission to the KU Natural History Museum is free, but visitors will have the opportunity to make a donation to support our museum operations. Our suggested contribution is $7 for adults and $4 for children. 

Parking for museum visitors is available in the Mississippi Street parking garage at 1218 Mississippi St.. An hourly charge applies. Visit our Parking Information page for details. Several Lawrence buses stop at the KU Memorial Union, next door to the museum.

Please use the main staircase to enter the museum and check in at the Visitor Services Desk. An accessible entrance is to the right of the main entrance. If using the accessible entrance, please take the elevator to the 4th (main) floor and check in at the Visitor Services Desk before exploring our galleries.
