Faben Tesfazion [Pronounced: FAY-behn tes-FAH-tsee-YOHN] is a current BioGEM post baccalaureate student (KU's NSF-funded RaMP program) with the Herpetology Collections researching patterns of speciation in complex island systems, specifically looking at *Platymantis* frogs from the Philippines.
