Museum Volunteer Program
KU Natural History Museum volunteers are an integral part of the museum and assist in several different areas.
Museum Experience Volunteer
Museum Experience Volunteers help keep the museum clean and comfortable for our guests to ensure their experience is a great one. Responsibilities include cleaning glass, signage, and railings throughout the museum's four floor of public exhibits, restocking pamphlets and brochures, straightening stools and benches, and picking up items visitors left behind.
Time commitment: 1 hour/week. Same day each week, anytime between 1pm-5pm.
